The Kabul River was once a source of pride to the Afghan people. But years of abuse have left it as nothing but a polluted dump. The same can be said about the city itself which has suffered from a lack of specific civic expansion and sewage plans. As the streets become caked in waste the skies too have become the victims of air pollution.
